Description THIS EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE AN IN-DEPTH UNDERSTANDING OF THE THEORIES AND CONCEPTS OF EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD AS WELL AS ITS PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION IN THE FIELD. IN THIS COURSE, STUDENTS WILL STUDY VARIOUS RELEVANT EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY THEORIES AND CONCEPTS AND HOW TO APPLY PSYCHOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES IN DESIGNING LEARNING APPROACHES THAT SUIT THE NEEDS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF CHILDREN AT THAT AGE. STUDENTS WILL ALSO BE TAUGHT HOW TO RECOGNIZE PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEMS THAT MAY ARISE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD, AS WELL AS INTERVENTION STRATEGIES THAT CAN BE IMPLEMENTED TO SUPPORT CHILDREN'S OPTIMAL EDUCATION PROCESS. APART FROM THAT, THIS COURSE ALSO DISCUSSES THE IMPORTANCE OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PARENTS, TEACHERS AND THE SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT IN SUPPORTING EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION BY PAYING ATTENTION TO THE PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF CHILDREN. THROUGH THIS COURSE, STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE ABLE TO INTEGRATE PSYCHOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE INTO EDUCATIONAL PRACTICE, AS WELL AS DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT THAT SUPPORTS CHILDREN'S HOLISTIC PSYCHOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT.
