Description Competency Test (Field Study) courses are courses that are applicable and integrated in learning training programs (National/International) to prepare students to master the competencies of educators (Lecturers), so that they can carry out their duties and responsibilities professionally. The Competency Test (Field Study) is implemented to equip students with practical knowledge sourced from the field (universities where they practice), as an important part of developing students' pedagogical, professional, social and personal competencies as prospective educators in higher education. This course is mandatory for students to take, so that students are able to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned through direct experience in the Field Study field related to real teaching learning practices, real classroom teaching, study program practice, mini research and scientific publications. Students carry out field studies at higher education institutions that have PIAUD/PAUD Undergraduate Study Programs, both domestically and abroad, to observe, analyze and evaluate educational practices, policies and management applied in various contexts. This course is also applied to deepen students' understanding of the challenges and opportunities in higher education education related to early childhood, as well as develop analytical, reflective and adaptive skills in dealing with various educational situations in various cultures. At the end of the activity, students are expected to be able to prepare a report that describes the results of field studies, mini research & publications in the field in a comprehensive manner.
